Nurses award wages
Hi,
Can someone point me at a place where I can find out what the standard rates of nurses pay are in NZ for registered nurses as either agency or permanent staff. Or even some personal tales.

something a little more specific.
We live in aus, but have been over to NZ and quite liked it. We also heard nurses have recently received a 30% pay rise (but was that 30% of not a lot we cry?).
My better half is an 8year RN in orthopaedics and gynae ward, previously in the UK in an infection control ward (MRSA).
Is ther much demand for those skills and do they pay well comparitive to Aus.

I can't say that I know the wages of nurses in Oz. Believe they were better but the difference may have closed now. (see metioned NZNO site). Your wifes skills would be in demand - just find the name of the hospital near to where you wanted to live and contact the Clinical Charge Nurse of the Ortho/Gynae Ward.
