The weather report said 18 degrees for Hamilton today - But I sat out in the garden at 6pm and it seemed a lot warmer than that. Two summers in one year - (and a week in Egypt!) Life is complete!

I haven't been there yet, but some jafa's that I know who have moved up from there say its very windy, is that right?
A couple of years ago we went to Taupo for the Easter long weekend, it was freezing down there! had to stay in a bar & keep warm

A beautiful day here today, the ocean was like a mirror this morning, and the shop near my regular coffee shop has it Christmas tree up in the window!

It was like a postcard coming over the bridge this evening I just don't want it to stop now. I'm covetous about the lovely weather - I don't want anyone to take it away from me once it arrives.

Wellington Harbour was smooth as silk today also - tee shirt weather even at 8.00am this morning.

Windy season is usually from about now to end November, December - changes depending on el nino/nina - it certainly can blow - but not all the time - and I've been in various other places in NZ which have been just as windy.
