I agree with referendums but I want a "Yeah, nah...depends" option to represent my indecisive views on both topics. After all how can the public hope to express their views when options are artificially reduce to such crude general-isms as "Yes" and "No" options? The Devil is always in the details.

Both referendums are being hidden in amongst the general election and I don't think either will be binding. It's just a way of getting both of these bothersome topics out of the way without the government having to climb down off the fence to commit one way or another. |
