That all depends on where the job offer is.

We went to one for Australia in 2009, buying the ticket is exciting if you are just setting out and you feel like you are doing something. Anyway it was hell, massive queues at every desk, children and babies crying (leave at home if you have any). We were in and out in thirty minutes and came away with nothing but a couple of pens. Had a nice lunch next door though.
Thanks Bermudashorts, the Seminar we are going to is limited to 50 people but that possibly wont make much difference if we all have questions we want answering.

We are leaving the kids at home and intend to go for a meal after so we may have the same outcome as you. :-)

We have been given a good site called Trademe.co.nz which is bringing up lots of properties in all areas, so this is great for us to get an idea on different locations.

Ah yes. I know which company you are referring to.

Bang on their money Mike. It's a business looking to attract paying customers.

Dannypaula. You can ask your questions here. Answers straight from many horses mouths.

Have you thought which area of New Zealand you might prefer at all?

Please do the NZ Immigration Points Indicator and come back with what points you have.
