New Zealand Overdraft
I have an overdraft in New Zealand, $500, I moved back to the UK and I got a tax rebate but I went overdrawn and I didnt realise I had an overdraft, any idea what would happen if I didnt pay it back?

Agreed.
At best you won't be able to come back to NZ because when you do you'll need to pay up before you get through immigration, plus interest.
At worst when the interest racks up it'll be more and more worth it for them to track you down and make you pay.
It wasn't a bank, but whoever was issuing parking fines in NZ in the mid-90's tracked down my Aunts partner in 2006, in the UK. With interest and additional non payment fines a $25 fine became $600 by the time they got him.
Be warned.
