New Zealand Competency Training - Electrical workers/Electrician.
 

Hi

Does anyone know of any training organisations in New Zealand that offer the competency training in the summer months (ideally December). We land around the 10 December and are really struggling to find anything before early Feb - this is causing a headache with applying for jobs as most roles I am looking at are smaller companies and they need me up and running when I land.

I will be based in Northland but at this stage would be happy to go anywhere to get my training completed.

Hi, it's his competency training for electrical workers to re-licence as an electrician. I'm coming on a permanent resident visa.

I assume you have already applied for registration and a license to work via the EWRB and they have given you info that you need to take and pass a board approved competency programme every 2 years ?

i am heading over as an electrician and did my re-licencing with Great Britain construction training. its a really good way of getting everything done as its all in place before you arrive.
The best thing to do if your going to do it out there is check the E.W.R.B's website and you'll find test centres throughout NZ on there
