Question New Zealand, Australia medical restrictions

Hello, this is a question about medical restrictions for entry to New Zealand. I have posted a similar question on the Australian discussion forum. My daughter and I are looking into the possibility of immigration to New Zealand or to Australia. Does anyone have experience of trying to enter either country with a medical condition. My daughter has diabetes, well controlled , no problems of any sort with it. She is well educated, has a responsible job and would probably qualify for both countries on the current points systems. She has written to both embassies but received very non-commital replies. We don't want to waste hard earned money if either or both countries would consider diabetes a non-starter. Can anybody help please?
