Hi everyone, this is my first post. It's taken me a while to get on here, but better late than never.

I've just arrived in New Zealand, working in Wellington. I met a couple of you at the One Day International cricket. I was the guy wearing this shirt...

Thanks for befriending me, chaps. I ended up with plenty of drinking buddies over the course of that day, I can tell you! I felt the effects on Sunday morning though.

Always on the lookout for more socialising, but it doesn't have to be drink related. I haven't brought my mountain bike over yet, but I do a bit of mountain biking. Also snowboarding, and I recently had a beginner's kayak lesson in Wellington. This weekend I'm off up to do the Tongariro crossing. So I'm interested in pretty much any experiences this country has to offer.

Is there anywhere I should look for gatherings? As you can tell from the shirt, I'm not too proud to beg

Well welcome Mr B to the forum and to Wellington, there always something going on so keep your eyes peeled for meet ups here and especially for March as we're planning a lads day out at the test match at the basin reserve - trying to think of a theme for drssing up for the Saturday...
