Smile New to Torbay, North Shore

Hi there, I have posted on here before as 'Hippygran' when I was in the UK, have now change my e-mail address & found it easier to create a new name. Found the site really useful, helpful & very supportive in our LONG journey to NZ. We arrived in NZ on 27th November 2009 & stayed with family until our container arrived. Our furniture arrived at our house on 18th February - 119 boxes, so since then our time has been taken up packing & putting stuff away - and, yes it was like Christmas & birthdays all rolled into one when we were opening boxes.

The reason I am writing today is I wondered if there is anyone who is also new to the Torbay/Browns Bay area who would like to meet up for coffee/chat, possibly help each other to settle in & make friends in a new, brilliant country. I am a young-at-heart 70 year old, married with family living in Murrays Bay, loves gardening & loads of other stuff. Would love to hear from anyone in the same situation.

Cheers

Joan

Hi Foxy,

Thanks for your reply, sorry for the delay in responding, only moved into our house just over two weeks ago & it has been pretty chaotic. As a new poster as 'Hippygran 2', apparently I need to make three postings before I can send a PM to you. Hopefully I will sort that out as soon as I can & will be in touch.

Thanks.

Joan.

Hi Joan.

You can request to have your old account and new account merged. That way you get your older posts but keep your new details.

Would you like that?
