New to NZ
Hey everyone,
Hope you are all well. What great weather we have been having, it's looking good.
Well, my name is Laura (20-something) and my partner is Steve (nearly 30...he will hate me for saying that hehehe). We moved from Altrincham, Cheshire to St Heliers, Auckland about 4 weeks ago and so far so good. We feel we are settling in but would love to start meeting some people.
We love kitesurfing (waiting for our shipping to arrive), cooking, walking, going out with friends for meals/drinks. I am looking to start netball again and Steve promised he would get back into tennis!
So if you are near to St Heliers, fancy a chat and a meet up, we would love to meet you.
Best wishes
Laura & Steve

Re: New to NZ
Hello Laura and Steve and welcome to BE and NZ!
I see you've found the previous kite surfing thread, so fingers crossed you'll meet some other like minded folk through that. Keep an eye on the meet ups sub forum for what's happening in your area. If there's nothing coming up then start a new thread!
Happy posting.

Hello and a big welcome to the New Zealand section of BE from the Consierges in Spain.
You will find excellent information in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.
BE Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font. Also there are Consierges who can support and guide you.
Please contact me if I can give you any further help.
