New to Christchurch in time for Christmas?

Hi everyone,

If you are arriving in Chch in time for Christmas check this out:

Settlement Support Services have organised a traditional Kiwi barbecue event for families new to Christchurch. It's a great opportunity to meet other newcomers to Christchurch and the Council, try Pavlova and other Kiwi Christmas dishes, and keep the kids entertained.

Saturday, 7 Dec 12 - 3pm (lunch included)
Westpac Centre, 2 Show Place, Addington

This is a free event but registrations are essential. For more info contact Canterbury Employers' Chamber of Commerce.

I saw a flyer advertising the event at work today. Sounds like a great opportunity to meet some newbies :)
