Nasty nasty storm.
 

Well. That little weather bomb cyclone tail 'event' was a bit on the nasty side.

Quite a few homes and roads around here are now 'munted' .

I gather people are trapped over Haast way. That doesn't just mean tourists .

Some farmland pasture is stuffed due to salt water.

All in all. We don't want another one do we. Yet there will be.

Seems these storms always manage to coincide their arrival with king tides :-(

Hope you're alright BEVS. NZ doesn't do things by half measures when it comes to natural disasters ay!

Our house is OK as on a hill but I had to delay my pusscat's vet appt for yesterday as too dangerous.
Himself is still in training as a civil defence responder . Won't be duty active until April so not yet on-call to help with the destruction everywhere.
