Default My Xmas Eve kiwi Style

Heres how i spent my Xmas eve in Cambridge.
We went to the traditional Xmas eve trotting races
at cambridge raceway.
Lovely sunshine
Good friends
yummy picnic
great laughs
plenty of beer (we walked/staggered the 10 minute journey home)
Its free to get in and i was $2.00 up at the end of the day.
It beats shuffling about in the slushy snow.

The races is a great idea!

Me?
veg and groceries in the morning
Visiting my old neighbour
In laws over
Best friend up from Wanganui in the afternoon so tea and mince pies on the deck til we got too hot and needed shade
Then out to fill up the gas for tomorrow's barbie
quick change before the kids service at St Matthews with old friends
Now home and sending the Christmas emails, with a g&t cos it's still so darn hot
Rock on!
