Moving your money back to the UK

As it seems we would be unable to open a UK bank account until we return to the UK, does anyone know how to move all your funds from NZ back to the UK.

think the only option would be to transfer it to someone who already has a UK bank account if you need it quickly.
Pop over to the Returning to UK forum and I am sure they can advise further

Best to talk through with a Currency broker. There are quite a few firms to choose from; I've previously used XE.com (they have an office in Auckland) and found them to be very good.
