Moving to NZ soon
 
Well thats it Job accepted just need to finish hospital medical EOI submitted, nursing registration part 1 submitted. God now lots to do, banking where how, living where how, will I survive 8 months with out my hubby and kids, hope so. Have been given a start date of 14th Jan 2013, where do I start.

where are you staying?
Westpac do a deal with ADHB staff(maybe other hospitals do as well). Most banks are really friendly here compare to the UK, so you sort the bank out when you get here as it might be worth getting one near where you intend to live.

I work for the SDHB and we have some sort of Westpac deal going on, I think most DHB's do.

thank you for replies, I have looked at westpac and they do an online application, which I will do, I need an account before I start as ADHB request this.
Just can't wait, this is so exciting yet scary at the same time, the hospital has said it will give me 2 weeks accomodation.

Congrats. We opened westpac accounts only and the day we arrived took id into a branch and walked out with a bank card! All very easy.

The Westpac package is available to all government employees.
