We are moving out to the South Manukau area in the next few months and I wondered whether we can use our UK television in NZ?

Not very technical so advice needed please!!

Hi James, We were told that we wouldn't be able to get a good signal, but when we connected the set the signal wasn't too bad. NZ TV programmes aren't that great so we got sky, which gives you a better selection of programmes and the picture quality is excellent. To be honest with you we're never in long enough to watch it, but it keeps the kids happy on days that we do stop in

Yes you can probably use it here.

There is a possiblity that the sound won't work but if you get a Freeview or Sky box you can use that to get around the issue.
