Moving to Cambridge
Hi there,
Paul and Sue moving to Cambridge will be there on 4th, start work on 9th, Waikeria Prison, South East of Te Awamutu.
Leaving 27 year old and 17 year old sons behind (youngest is doing A levels and staying with mum) so a real big wrench but very excited to be moving.
Both passionate badminton players and I am a Level 2 Badminton England coach, love playing socially or competitively in a league, doubles only as I am just not quick enough for singles anymore.
We both love music, especially jazz, reggae, hip hop/rap (me), well anything really, both play alto saxophone, though not much these days.
I support Tottenham Hostpur.
Not much else to say really, very excited, a bit nervous, very busy, lots to do, really looking forward to the adventure but feet firmly on the ground. Quite an emotional roller coaster at moment, doing lots of goodbyes, but looking forward to being around me bessie who lives in Auckland.

Re: Moving to Cambridge
Try dropping into the "Cambridge Club" next door to the police station. Its a members club but
you can go along a few times to try it out, there are plenty of Brits who go along, usually
5.30 to 7.30 on a Thursday and Friday. They have draws and themed party nights and a lot
of Cambridge businessmen use the places so its good for making social connections too.

Hello and a big welcome to the New Zealand section of BE from the Consierges in Spain.
You will find excellent information in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.
BE Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font. Also there are Consierges who can support and guide you.
Please contact me if I can give you any further help.
