Moving to Auckland soon
 

Hey everyone.

Currently about to finish a 2 year IEC Visa in toronto canada, and just got approved for the work holiday Visa in NZ.

The plan is to head out there to Auckland toward the end of may, and I absolutely cannot wait.

Just wanted to ask, how much would you say in your experience living there do you need to bring as a minimum amount to survive, vs to feel comfortable for the first month or so?

I will possibility have a job transfer from the company I currently work for too, but that's not 100%

And is there any advice you can give as far as areas to live, things to do or avoid, securing a place to live etc?

Ideally I want to be close or in the city, as I'm 28 and love to be where the action is.
