Moving

Hi There,

Has anyone used a separate insurance company to cover their household goods in transit whilst moving within New Zealand? Moving companies are quoting but are really expensive:eek:.

Thanks

What do you mean by "really expensive"? What have you been quoted on what covered value?

I know. Our pals that moved again NZ UK found it all a premium price. i do realise this is within NZ itself.

Have you asked your house/car/contents insurers. I know State do transit insurance. We are with AMI.
Vero may be a goer too.

I’m using an independent marine insurance. They are Letton Percival. They are resonable.

Helpful but they is UK based. Reylan needs NZ based . I would agree though to try a marine ins company . They may well do land transit.
