Hi peeps

Sorting out b/band and TV now...

...just wondering... Sky TV has F1... does it have MotoGP? Indycar? NASCAR?

Trying to check out their site but its shite!

Yep it has them all

I only follow MotoGP and World Superbikes but the rest is on there as well.
For superbikes if you put it on your sky planner with a series link it only
recognises the first race so you have to manually add the supersport and second race.:thumbup:
MotoGp, we now also get final qualifying so get that on ya planner too and
our comentators are so much better than that idiot Toby Moody who only
ever seems to want to let everyone know that this rider or that rider is my friend....tool !!!

Have a look at getting sky as part of a phone/internet package it might be cheeper or get intouch
if you want to do the friend thing which saves you around 150 bucks

Also around xmas time keep an eye out for the NZ street racing series usually
about 20 bucks to get in and well worth the effort

Over the last couple of years, Sky can be a bit inconsiderate with the MotoGP. They dumped one meet completely because tennis overran.
You sometimes also don't get the other classes. Still, they are better now with the GP itself.

It was, and pretty much still is, the reason we subscribe to the sports package.:thumbsup:

Its the only reason I will be also...

...F1 and MotoGP being my favourite... but I'll watch any kind of motorsport!

Now... to look up compliance for my nearly-landed motorcycle!

Anyone use the AA before? Looks like its only $200 for the compliance checks on the North shore.......

I digress!

I took mine to a local yam dealer in Cambridge for a brake compliance they just took it to VTNZ for rego , new plates and wof

It does have them yeah, but its a steep price (well i thought so anyway) as thats all I'd watch.

If you can, try and find an invite for racingfor.me as they have all the major motorsports on there for download. I get all my Indycar (mainly), Nascar, F1 and MotoGP from that and its generally available the next day or so. I don't have any invites left at the mo but if I get one I'll PM you.

Last year, TVOne did a Indycar highlights show after each race which was on TVNZ OnDemand the following weekend if thats any help too?

I used to follow Indycar also but thats been a bit touch and go in the UK without having Sky...

Hoping for Dario this year though :)

And yes if you have an invite I'd love it!

Yeah would love to see Dario win another this year. Used to follow Indycar/Cart religiously in the UK as I was trying to steer my own racing career that way back in 2003 but never worked out. Still love it to this day, although I dont think the current Indycar has anything on the good old days of Champ Car in the 90s.

always remember the michigan 500 i think, superb finish, al unser junior and scott something or other... like 0.001sec after 500 miles!

Oh those were the days eh! Was just watching highlights of Zanardi's pass on Herta at Laguna Seca in 1996, dont think there has been a better pass in motorsport.

Yep I remember the Jeff Krosnoff accident, very sad. Greg Moore's crash though, man that gives me chills to this day, by far the worst accident I've ever seen.

Michigan was one of the best tracks that CART went to imo and that Al Jr finish just sums it up.
