Default Monarch Butterflies & cluster trees.

Has anyone seen a monarch butterfy over wintering cluster tree this year please?

Normally we have one or two in our area but there seems to be nothing this year. Probably due to the damn paper wasps.

Any down in Christchurch ?

Not seen any at all down here not even single ones on the warm sunny days. Really unhappy as we had quite a few hatch out at the expense of loads of swan plants...

Saw one today flying about in Pukerua Bay (north of Welly) while visiting family.
It was a lovely day with no wind........ for a change
