I took glycerine to be a sweetener, and sugar is cheaper.:lol:

Yes, it is somewhat of a sweetner, but usually used as a softener in cakes, and to the touch is quite oily. Certainly not what one would normally associate with being a sweetener.

Ummm........at the risk of getting the rolled up newspaper, a softener is probably not a strong selling feature of the product posted.
