We arrive on the 3rd August and it would be good to meet a few of you in the Auckland area for coffee or beer/wine. What do you wreckon?

Sorry cant meet up...............not there yet. Hopefully Jan 2008, then we will be in same boat as you. Was just saying to my hubby today that we will need to arrange a meet up around that time. Good luck! Hope everything goes to plan for you both

Yep know exactly how you feel - we go from being exxcited to thinking OMG what have we done and feeling homesick. Happy to meet up with you once you arrive. Give us a shout when it would be good.

what part of auckland will you be inhabiting when you get here
we live out in west auckland, but dont mind a bit of a drive to meet up
let us know and we will see what we can do

We arrived in Auckland at 07:00 this morning (Friday 3rd August) due to the date line the 2nd of August did not happen in our world. We have a holiday rental in the CBD off of Nelson and will be using that as our base until we secure a rental for us and our furniture when it arrives.
Let us get our bearings and then I will post a suggested place to meet - is the weekend the best for everyone or would an evenig be better during the week.

We are always up for a social. We arrived late June so getting adjusted to life here. At least you missed the Hurricane
