Medicals done - cholesterol high

Hi all

We have just had our medicals done and my husbands cholesterols was 5.2 and the LDL 3.5 (should be under 3). The doctor has ticked the significant findings box on the summary page.

He was commenced on medication for this just before christmas and it has come down from over 6.

What do you think will happen when the ITA is reviewed?

Thanks

Hi, I can only comment on the 3.5 result, I too had 3.5 and immigration didn't say a word.

Hope this helps

We both had high readings and got in. Don't worry too much. As long as you are showing it is coming down. Just get on the exercise as well as medication and leave the cheese alone (docs advise!) and he said it should drop like a stone LOL!!::)

Thanks teebrown and shirl.

I got very nervous reading previous medical posts about problems that others have had.

ITA all ready to be posted tomorrow - fingers crossed.
