Which Medical Insurance?

Hi, does anyone have any advice on getting medical insurance in NZ? What companies? What type? What will we need to cover? Any advice much appreciated.

Have a chat with a broker.
We are with ING Life. Some companies offer the cheapest option
when treatments or medication are involved.
Whe we have needed it we have seen doctors, specialists and havd surgery
within days. All at modern private hospitals.
Basically you get what you pay for.

We have just arrived in Auckland and the kids school suggested we look at Unicare as an option. They seem to have different plans that look okay. Maybe worth a peak......

WE're with Southern Cross for Hospital and specialist only. we used to cover day to day stuff but now that GP visits and scripts are so cheap, it's not worth it. We pay $65 a month for two adults
