Default medical insurance

Hi guys,
I know there will be something somewhere on the forum but I can't find it. Does anyone have any recommendations on good companies for life and medical insurance please? We have had 1 quote from ASB for life and medical insurance for $40 per week - does this sound reasonable?
Thanks

We use Southern Cross for medical - $78 per month for both of us for the medium level of cover - covers the expensive stuff but not doctors visits or dentist checkups.

Life insurance I have with BNZ, same as the mortgage because it was about the same price as other quotes I got - $26 per fortnight to insure me for about $350k including loss of earnings/redundancy type cover.

Thanks guys, will look into both.
Danny doesn't think we need life insurance but he lady in the bank told him if anything happens to him I need some money to go on a cruise and that they are going to set me up with the bank manager - so looks like I'm sorted!!!!
