Medical insurance?
 
Is medical treatment free in NZ? Do you have to pay to see a doctor?

Doctors are free for under 6 yrs of age. From 6yrs the cost ranges from $10-40.
For an Adult the cost is between $18-$60. All Doctors charge different amounts so it would pay for you to ring around and ask charges before signing up with one.
