Default Medical Adjudication

Hi Folks
Wife submitted our visa application today. However there is a slight problem due to having a cancerous tumor removed four years ago my forms have to go to a medical adjudicator. Has anybody had similar experience and likely outcome. We will not know for at least a fortnight what the decision is. And have been told that it might even have to be decided by somebody in NZ.I have a job waiting and have submitted a letter from my Consultant so i am hopeful it will work out okay. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Sean

Hi Sean,
My MIL had breast cancer 4 years ago. It was operated on and no further action was required even though it was quite bad. We all arrived in November and they put in their residency application in Dec. Immigration sent a letter detailing what they wanted the consultant to tell them. Whilst this was going on Immigration have to give them a work permit as it is them asking questions. Consultant gave the relevant information. MIL and FIL are now residents.
Good Luck
Carole

Many Thanks Carole it is nice to receive some positive feedback. Have spoken to my contact at agency who has given me similar encouragement. Sean. When we get over to NZ we should get together as job will be in Auckland.
