Last time I lived in Wellington I seem to remember the electric trolly busses spent an inordinate amount of time broken down blocking various inner city roads...or crashing into cars...that was when the drivers weren't on strike...
It almost gets as annoying as those people who get involved in protests around Wellington, why must they always march in cities and annoy the rest of us? Don't they have jobs to go to and taxes to pay?
