hey all!!

I'm a bit new to this, although my partner is a regular!!(haha)

Just wondered if anyone know's whether or not I can bring my aromatherapy oils with me? I have been trying to get through to MAF for some time and all I get is an answer phone.:curse:

We don't want a MAF charge and I'm not sure where else to look. I've searched the net and cant find anything at all that says you can or you cant bring them.

please help me!!

Are they plant extracts or synthetic versions? Also are they in unbroken, pre-sealed containers?

Hi Charismatic, they're pure essential oils and are listed on the company website as:

Essential Oils: Pure Natural oils which have been extracted from the flowers, seeds, fruit, leaves or the roots of plants..

I have around 20 10ml bottles of pure oils such as lavender, ylang ylang, clary sage, peppermint, thyme etc etc, all have been opened but they are in screw top bottles. I've checked on the MAF website and could only see info relating to plant products in relation to human consumption.

Any help/info really appreciated

Sorry can't help to much but... I know nz post has issues with sending essential oils so maf may have a problem. However my wife is an aromatherapist and brought all her oils over in our shipping pack. We had no problems but could just have been lucky.

Thanks nelsonpom, looking on-line I haven't seen anything to say they can't be shipped over and regarding plant oils for human consumption that's OK so maybe we might get through but we'd be better to get a definate answer from MAF than risk it I suppose.

Was going to say that I have bought in oils from SpaceNK on a couple of accasion with no hassle so should be ok
