made a big decision

I'm not sure if anyone has done this-----

sold the house (fantastic)
Got visa
no job to go to
decided to go anyway
going mid jan
probably going to Auckland
am I mad?????

sorry haven't been in touch with anyone recently, taken up supply teaching until Christmas and it's hard work!!!, but getting paid for it.
Anyone going to Manchester on 22nd or 23rd October, and can we meet up to exchange notes?

yes we are totally bonkers, but what the heck I must be one of those Skiiers (spending kids inheritance) having a major mid life crisis! Had to drop the price of the house by a few thousand, but it doesn't owe us anything! :) really glad, but the cats may have a new home with the next owners
