May have a detrimental effect on the airlines, no need for expats to spend $2.5K on airfares to go back to UK for shopping trips. Ha, ha now there's a justification to spend it up large.... I saved $2.5k on these knickers.

Good news but don't forget to take this into account.
"International delivery
Due to customs, legal, regulatory and certain practical restrictions applicable to orders placed for international delivery, some of our products may not be available for delivery to certain destinations outside the UK. Marks & Spencer reserves the right to define what can and cannot be delivered to which destination.
Marks & Spencer products are sold in pounds Sterling on a Delivery Duty unpaid basis. The recipient may have to pay import duty or a formal customs entry fee prior to or on delivery. Additional taxes, fees or levies may apply according to local legislation and customers are advised to check these details before placing an order.
If the postcode/zip code or any part of the address is entered incorrectly, delays or delivery failures may result.
In Summary
France, Germany, Spain:
Clothing and selected homeware and beauty products Approximately 6 -9 days £10.00
USA, Canada:
Clothing and selected homeware and beauty products Approximately 7 - 10 days £20.00
Australia and New Zealand:
Clothing and selected homeware and beauty products Approximately 10 - 14 days £20"

20 pounds for delivery - I know that international post is expensive, but add that to the cost of whatever you buy - you could end up paying a lot for a pair of cotton pants!
Lovely as M&s pants are - I'm just going to stick to ones from here.
However if they ever decided to send ultimate mash over - then that would be a totally different matter - 20 pounds postage - that cheap?! Why not make it 40!

Re: M&S Now Delivers to NZ
I have been all through this customs duty thing before with a gift that was incorrectly valued.
From: www.customs.govt.nz
A few things do attract 18% import duty, but most are 12.5%, anything imported under NZ $300 should not be an issue. Remembering that the $300 would be the total cost including the shipping or postage cost.
From: www.customs.govt.nz
Calculation of Customs Charges
Where applicable, Customs duty is levied on the transaction value of the goods (the price actually paid for them). Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 12.5 percent is then calculated on the duty-inclusive value plus international freight and insurance charges.
No revenue collection will be made if the total amount owing on the goods imported is less than $50.

You could post the knickers from here and on the customs form say they are used. No tax on used items. I don't think they would risk examining them do you. Just a thought.

Why bother - most of their stuff is now made in China - you can buy that in New Zealand.
I have recently moved over from UK and must confess found M & S need to up their game.
