Luggage Allowance

Hi Guys, Asking on behalf.
Which airline has the biggest luggage allowance? Flying NZ to U.K.
The more kg's the better

Re: Luggage Allowance

Usually 30kg check in per person for long haul. I be surprised if anyone here will have checked ALL the flights on this basis. Plus max 7kg carry on per person

Re: Luggage Allowance

It can depend on the route and type of ticket you buy. Usually if you get a cheap non-cancellable economy ticket then you only get 20 or 23kg or otherwise maybe 30kg if you get a flexi fare for example. You might get some extra if you have frequent flyer benefits or belong to whichever air points / club is applicable to a particular airline.

It might be more economical to air-freight an extra bag rather than pay the extra cost of a fully flexi fare.

Check Air NZ they I believe with economy offer a second 23 kg bag for a reasonable fee on the LA/UK route.

Re: Luggage Allowance

I got 30kg last year on Cathay plus 7kg cabin and same again this year on Royal Brunei - I think that is the standard for long haul. This year's flight was on special at $1500 for August which is pretty good.
