Looking for ideas about where to stay
Can anyone make any suggestions about short term furnished accommodation in the Christchurch area? We are a family of 4, the children being teenagers.

Re: Looking for ideas about where to stay
Welcome to the forum and good luck with your preparations for your move to NZ - If you have any questions I sure there are many people here that are willing to help.
I have a 4 bedroom detached place I am renting short term - it is fully furnished and has everything you need until the container comes. It is a flat price per family per night and includes everything, power use of phone etc. It is in a nice area on outskirts of Christchurch in a good area for schools and many other facillities. The price is per family per night and includes everything. It has recently been refurbished and re decorated. The house is only 6 years old and set amongst other new homes. http://www.holidayhouses.co.nz/properties/7745.asp |
Re: Looking for ideas about where to stay
Wow - what a response, thank you all so much. There is certainly a fair range there and plenty to choose from. There was me thinking it was gonna be hard. I have contacted a few from your recommendations and will see how things go. It seems pricey at first but when it it broken down and converted to pounds and then considering they are fully furnished and power etc is included I think there are some good deals there. thanks again Nick
