Re: looking for friends in Wellington!!
It was really good to meet upon Friday and take in some of the bars on Cuba street and courtney place, thanks for the invite.
Will definatley keep in touch, although I don't think I'll challenge you to a game of pool again as you are clearly a shark.
It was great to have a few drinks after arriving in a new city and get local knowledge and tips from people likes you and boozy mate who have gone though a lot of the challenges of moving across the world!

We moved from Cardiff South Wales 5 years ago, my wife is a Kiwi but my daughter is Welsh. I was born in Staffordshire.

Hi Alan, Lisa and Thomas
The wife (Ashlie) and I would be more than happy to meet up for a coffee some time. I am also a keen fisherman but never tried it while kayaking!!
We are mid 30's with no children and We're in Riverstone terraces in Upper Hutt but would be more than happy to come over your way if it is easier for you.
All the Best
Mark and Ashlie

Re: looking for friends in Wellington!!
Hello!
First time posting on here but have been an avid lurker.
Myself and my partner are in Welly. We have been here since Feb and are keen to meet other folks. I'm a kiwi but my partner is English, we are both in our thirties and live in Brooklyn. We were living in London and in total I've been away from NZ for 10 years!
Would love to catch up sometime
