At long last!

At long last!
Well, my house is sold - exchanged Monday 21st, completing Wednesday 30th which has been quite mad!
So, it was hand my notice in at M&S last Tuesday, last day at work Friday and then since then, headless chicken mode!
Packing boxes arrived Friday late afternoon, charity picked up unwanted furniture yesterday and a couple of trips to the tip. Stayed with a friend at a Premier Inn last night as no beds and will be staying with my daughter and grandson until the day of my flight which is..........Monday!!!!
After being let down by my pt shippers, my lovely dog was booked into Battersea this morning - however, at the last minute an alternative shipper came up trumps! This meant a frantic phone call to my husband at 4.15am his time and Tazz has now been collected for a stay at the shippers kennels until his flight on 26th December.
It will be 14 months and 1 day since I last saw my husband and oldest son and 7 months and and 18 days since I last saw my youngest son, so I am really looking forward to my first hugs!
The down side will be leaving my daughter (expecting grandchild number 2 in June) and my gorgeous 2 year old Grandson. We are hoping they can visit really soon.
Thank you for all the support I have received on here (especially in Feb) and look forward to perhaps seeing some of you in the flesh soon!
