Question Little aerials on car bumpers?

Can anyone explain what the little aerials are used for?
They are usually positioned on the front bumpers of cars, passenger side.
Just curious.

Cheers

They are parking poles - some can be raised up and down electrically and most glow when you put your lights on.

Do not concern yourself with them--all NZ drivers work on the audible parking system

When you hear the sound of crunching metal you are about there.

Remember the Kiwi mantra-"She'll be right"

That explains a few things, such as they only stop when they hit the kerb, & why they don't mind bashing my car door with their own!!!

Lol, we asked the same question to one of my wifes kiwi friends, who replied what aerial, her husband smiled.

That's why it is not worth buying a new car here. We now lease both are cars and are not to bothered with all the dings and dents on the doors or elsewhere!!
