Learner drivers
Well after virtually swallowing the road code over the past week our daughter passed her learner theory test yesterday
The AA have informed us that it is only a person who has held a NEW ZEALAND liscence for 2 years who can sit in/ instruct her.
Well thats us out of the equation then!!!! Even though we have been driving (with FAR more trafic in UK) for over 20 years
Anyone else had similar experience?

You can get the dispensation form at the AA.

You can get a dispensation from the Director of Land Transport NZ, so your experience in the UK counts. I had to do this to get my P endorsement, as you are supposed to have held a Kiwi licence for two years and I'd only had mine for a month.

She'll be right! I taught my 15 year old to drive - someone only told me you're meant to have an NZ licence for 2 years to instruct the day after he passed his restricted!
