I wonder why someone earning £100k+ would want leave that job and move to NZ
. (only 5% of UK population earns more than £100k).

I last drew GBP435k in the UK and draw $757.36 in NZ, which I calculate to mean I should feel like I pay E4.56/L for any petrol if I bought any in Belarus.
56.7% of numbers on the internet are made up of course. Thats an average with a std deviation of 7.8

Not everyone on here came over in the last 1-2 years.
People change their career paths, inflation happens and promotion occurs. I've been here 4 years, my last drawn salary and the current salary I could earn in the UK would be quite different.
I earn NZ$ and assess price and value for money in that currency, cost in £ is irrelevant.

Lots of migrants leave NZ (emigration rates are high) every year as they do not find themselves any better off as compared to their living standard in UK.
So, what exactly is the average last drawn pay of Brits moving to NZ? - an anonymous poll may answer the same.
