At last....
Just thought I'd check in with our current progress as been lurking in the background for a bit these days.
OK house still not sold but bit the bullet and sent off passports for the Visa thingy as only had 6 weeks left before the deadline. So we have 1 year to sell house...best case we're over in March/April 2012 . Worst case we're coming for a 7 week holiday in the summer to get the passports stamped .
Have decided to drop house price by 15grand - big decision as only been on market for 4 months and I know things are really slow on the house shifting front but would rather be shot of it so I can start planning.
we'll get a ton of viewers this weekend and someone will want to buy

I think so long as you are pro-actively pursuing the dream in some little way; be it reading info on boards like here or staring at real estate online that you can't afford in your wildest dreams, combined with planning "to do" lists whilst hoovering before the hoards of potential house purchasers stampede through the door, then it is all good!
For the house to sell.
For the house to sell.

Best of luck Lejamez. if you get loads of viewers this weekend and they don't want to buy your house ~ send them this way. I have never done so much housework in my life since the house went on the market! Once it's sold I am going to rebel and not hoover for a whole day
