Ladies Police Warning South Auckland.

This was an email my work circulated.

WARNING - Please circulate this following warning to everyone you know.

This actually happened a few weeks ago right here near Fairfield, South Auckland.

It was early evening and a young lady stopped to get petrol She filled her tank and walked into the store to pay for her petrol. The cashier told her 'Don't pay for your petrol yet.....walk around the store for a while and act as if you're picking up some other things to buy. A man just got into the back of your car. I've called the police and they're on their way'.

When the police arrived, they found the man in the back seat of the girl's car and asked him what he was doing. He replied, he was joining a gang and the initiation to join is to kidnap a woman and bring her back to the gang to be raped by every member of the gang. If the woman was still alive by the time they finish with her then they let her go.

According to the police that night, there is a new gang forming here originating from Wetherill Park.

The scary part of this is because the guy didn't have a weapon on him.

The police could only charge him with trespassing.... He's back on the street and free to try again.

Please be aware of what's going on around you and for your family and friends. LADIES you or one of your family and friends could be the next victim.

Please forward this on to everyone you know. Please do not discard this message it is very important that everyone knows what is happening.

Please be careful when leaving your vehicle and make sure it is ALWAYS Locked to prevent this from happening to you.

Very disturbing, good job the cashier was alert. Please can you tell if there are any cases of this kind anywhere else in NZ or is it just around Auckland?
Regards

Wow, I was reading that expecting a punchline! But it's for real?? Scary stuff. I'm nowhere near South Auckland but now that I've read that, will definitely be more careful in future.

Bloody Frightening :eek::(:( Take care girls ;)

Mind you if he jumped in the back of mine, between the kids & the puppy, he wouldn't stay long. He'd either be talked to death or licked to death :D

Thanks for that Am Loolah,

I'm usually very careful about locking my car but my friend isn't. She's lived here for 5 yrs & has become very relaxed about security. So I shall pass this onto her & tell others about it.

I don't want to be scareing people, but thought it best to pass on - can never be too careful.:(

Forewarned is forearmed. It's a sad world sometimes:(

Thankfully, just when something terrible happens , you see/hear of acts of great human kindness, that restores your faith in mankind :).

Although it's always good to play it safe when you are alone, I wouldn't get too worked up about this... snopes is a very good reference point for these Urban Legends.

Have some common sense ladies, if you leave the car, lock it. Keep expensive belongings hidden. Be aware of where you are, what your surroundings are and leave if you don't feel safe.

It's a scary world out there, but that doesn't mean we should hide away.

That makes two of us then . I've never heard of it either.

However, a female paediatrician in the UK has been murdered by someone who is thought to have hidden in her car. Read that this morning on the BBC news website.
