Ladies & Gents : Your suggestions please.

Many moons ago Geordie Mandy of the Oz forum spotted we were missing something rather vital for an expat or a would-be migrant , so named & stocked the Kiwi Bar for us.
That was over 6 years ago now & the place is looking a bit drab and dull, with the smell of old beer , sticky carpet, worn wood furniture & a proverbial bar fly dozing in the corner.

So. Time for us to open a new , fresh, watering hole. A cafe/bar . A tendy pub with a good outdoor area . It's a place to stop by, have a drink & pass the time of day.

Thing is we need a name for the place. Something NZish of course as that's where we are.

Suggestions below please & then it will go to a poll.

Thanks

I'll miss the Kiwi Bar:( I like that old world dirty carpet that you stuck to if you stood still too long, the nicotine stained walls and the smell of stale beer and other unpleasantness...
Go and make it all trendy and I'll no longer be able to turn up barefoot and in me pyjamas and be the most stylish there...

How about:
Weta your whistle
The Kea and Kiwi
'Wekas'

Anymore for anymore.

I will open the poll on the 22nd and leave it for a week to give people time to vote.

From what I am hearing on the jungle drums - and yes, I do get to hear stuff - a more traditional comfy pub with a beer garden & kids area is preferred. Of course it would need good indoor/outdoor flow. :D

That sounds nice BEVS. Log-fire (well, maybe not this time of the year), ploughman's lunch, John Smiths on handpump :D
