I started my new job today and it was an easy transition as the people are very friendly and my boss is nice. We were going through all the paperwork and she said that I can't join the Kiwi Saver scheme as I am only here on a work permit.

Is that right?

AFIK - I needed to prove to my employer we had PR in order to set it up, but I could be wrong!
