I know! I'm going through a not so nice period of missing everyone at the moment.... I'm so tempted to go back and see everyone for a while but that would cost a lot.... if it gets really tough then I might go back for a visit.

when i went back (I'd only been here 7 mths) the sky was low, grey & everything felt like it was coming in om me. the roads were busy , even my poxy little home/county town seemed busy (& it wasn't) everyone was miserable, i started chatting to the checkout lady in tescos & expected her to pack my bags ........until i remembered where i was!!!! & i was constantly smiling at people & saying hello , everyone must have thought i was a nutter (not wrong there then) & you have to pay to park, can't park out side of the shop & pop in, & everyones in a rush. I even stuck to the speed limit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
did enjoy seeing friends & family & of course the shopping.
If you get the chance fly back via LA , you van do loads have loads more baggage allowance for all that shopping

I'm trying to hold out for a bit until OH gets enough holiday to come too. I just really miss my folks at the moment.... I expect its pretty normal to feel this way coming up to 2 years here..... and also having had a baby not too long ago.... was wondering if a bit of PND was coming in....not too sure.
