Default Kitchen Set-Up Kit Available for any Christchurch Newbies

Hi all.

Now our stuff has arrived, we don't need the complete kitchen set we bought to see us through until now. So, we would like to offer it out to any new arrivals coming to the area, who will also be waiting for their container to arrive and in a similar position as we were.

Set Includes:
Saucepan Set
Kettle
Toaster
Microwave
Crockery for 4
Cutlery
Glasses
Cooking utensils
Salt & Pepper Grinders
Iron
Ironing Board
and a few other bits and pieces

Drop us a PM if it would be of use to you.

Cheers,

Wiz'n'Ton

If anyone wants to move within 'coffee' distance of Hamilton, I am sure I can dig something out!

Figured it could be of use to someone rather than sitting in the shed. Be a waste!

Well done Wiz and Ton. You two are such kind people! If anyone needs packing boxes, we've just finished unpacking our lot (thank goodness that's over - I'm not moving again for a very long time!!!!).
Debbie.

Our move to our new house was fine! In fact it was a bit of a 'community effort' - we roped in some friends with trailers to help move the big stuff, and Planty did several trips in our tank of a people carrier with the rest of the boxes.
And the good news is that nothing got broken!
It's good to have all our things around us again; the house that we had rented was fairly small, so lots of our 'non essential items' have been in boxes for a mighty long time! PSS did us proud - not one damaged item.
Now we've just got to find places for everything to live!
Are you all unpacked now?
Debbie.

That's what i like about people on here, genuine ,friendly and helpful. Really good of you and yes we should all do it. Pity we are still here in the UK. But it will be something we will do too when we get there.

Great news that all has gone well for you. We have just today finished unpacking the very last of our stuff, and the flat now feels very much like home. We've managed to blag a bit of extra storage here too, so all those 'non essential items' you mention have gone in there til whenever they will be needed.

Overall, despite the scare stories, it's been a really positive experience for us.

Now then, just need to figure out how to make my millions....
