Blue merle collie = Ruben (after Ruben Xaus, bike racer)
BW collie = Rossi (after Rossi, bike racer and god)
German shepherd = Keira - that was her name when we rescued her
Staffie = Frankie (after Frankie Chili, bike racer)

Notice a theme here? :rofl:

I'm so jealous you have a blue merle - they are such beautiful dogs! I can't wait until we buy a house and I can get one - got a few years to wait for that though :(

As he's a collie he is a handful. Also his eyes are not blue - but I don't care as they are prone to problems if they are. There are a few blue merle breeders across NZ, of collies and a couple of other breeds too. It's all to do with a recessive gene, apparently :blink: in the dogs, not the breeders :rofl:

How lovely!! They could nearly be twins :thumbsup: Very dark black GSDs are not that common - I haven;t really seen another over here. Ours was a rescue dog in the UK and we brought her here.
