baby cats, baby rabbits = kittens
baby dogs, baby seals = pups
many other examples of offspring being given the same names.
Besides kids are sooo cute, the goat version definitely is and most of the human version is [though not all, you know who you are!]

This is one of PVFC's little crusades in life, to get everyone saying "children". Blah blah blah. 
One day when we were all getting off the train to come into work he accidentally said "kids". I very happily immediately picked up on that. He was not amused.

My dad went through a phase of refusing to say kids as well, he has now given up mainly due to the arguments forwarded in my last post!!
