Default Kapiti coast for kids

Looking for some ideas/suggestions for things to do on our little ones birthday. She will be 5 on 10th September and will not have any friends to celebrate with
So any help for things to do in or around the Kapiti coast area to make her day special would be very much appreciated. We hopefully will have a car by then so do not mind travelling a little.

Many thanks
Dewb

There is a great farm to visit just out of Paraparamu on the way to Wellington. There is the tram ride near Raumati to the beach. There is a wildlife park near Waikanae and if you like you could drive to Palmy for lunch with us (there are also LOADS of kiddy things to do here that you could do in conjunction with a visit), my 7 year old twin girls would love to look after her I am sure and we have a playground in the garden that kids seem to adore. PM me if you are interested. Its just under an hour out of Waikanae. Give 'Kapiti Coast attractions' a google

There's the Lindale centre just up the road or Staglands just along the winding track from Waikanae to the Hutt valley, both are very good...

The Lindale is the one I was thinking of just past Paraparamu.
