Default Just starting the loooong process af getting a partner visa.

My partner is a Kiwi and we have decided to leave sunny Edinburgh to live in NZ closer to her family. We are getting married in NZ in March next year and are planning on flying out there for this September. Does anyone else have experience of getting a visa as a Kiwi's partner?

I'm just about to pop to the hospital with passport, photos and chequebook (got a feeling it's going to get a lot of use) to get my x-rays done. Next week is the check over by the doctor. After that we plan on getting the Police checks. Hopefully it will all go well.
