Oh and yes it's a great place with plenty of great people.
We will be looking to go out again, probably for good.
Glad to hear you enjoyed ChCh, what did you think of Rangiori (apparently 3000 brits have settled there).
What do your kids think and feel about everything, what were the houses like and the prices.
What was Rolleston like, any info on the general areas is always useful.
And most importantly what did the wife think, ie. shops etc etc.

Cheers Jads

Hi. Glad you had a good trip. we have a job offer in cch but rally fancied the north island all though love both we wanted a better climate than here. What did you think of the weather? Did you happen to see the hospital? or hear anything about it? WHich is the best area to live in for a commute to the hosp yet loads of green space around you and great schools? Thanks

Jads, Rangiora is a nice place, i can see why so many brits are there, It has all the shops you would need all in one small area. Property prices are good too, you get a lot of land for your money.
Both the kids really liked it out there, especially the 13yr old girl who we thought was going to be the hard one to please. Before we went all she thought about was she would really miss her friends here, she soon changed after the high school visit. The 9yr old lad just loves it all really.
Rolleston is really nice, thats why we plan to live there. It is general 10-15mins southwest of chch, easy to commute to, a good primary and Lincoln High school is a 10min free bus ride away, all the shops are new as are all the houses in the area, with more stuff being built all the time. The wife liked the place, and surrounding other small villages. shops are a good enough for her in rolleston and chch is near, and she can be fussy about the shops. She said that they was not behind in the fashion etc, so she's happy. If she's happy then so am i!.
